I like the idea of limiting boats on rivers. It would do the following:

Save lives and injuries, help erosion at the ramps, limit speeding trailers in tow, stop boaters from drinking and boating and deficating in the water, stop oil sheens and fuel sheens on the water, stop littering the river from wrecked debris, stop littering the whole river with anchors, weights, corkies, and line all over the river, control noise pollution from sleds, stop fights at the ramps, save fish by lessing the need for hydroelectric power used by aluminum manufacturers and save trees and help limit VOC emissions, etc.

I would like to see bank only fishing on the upper portions of the rivers and leave the lower portions open to boats. This is the way it is on my favorite rivers. The boaters have the advantage on most OP rivers and there is limited bank access. Last time I went in a boat there were too many boats. I'd rather fish from the bank. Its good excercise too for your legs and heart. I'm looking forward to summerun fishing because I'm sick and tired of all the boaters during the winter season. They make it hard for people to catch fish from the bank. what
