The gold would be my choice. It is much like the Calawha, in that it cleans rapidly after high water. I have seen the gold come up as much as 10feet in one day only to drop into shape in less than 24 hours. the gold is limited in its classic fly water. There are some good runs around the Golf course, the pumphouse below and around the Uncona River, and upstream of gold river at the mouth of the Muchalat. You may allso find good water if you hike the Peppercorn trail upstream. This is a good time to be down around the Pumphouse as it is only a mile or so from the salt water and the spring kings should be stacking down there as well as new steelies. Have fun ..........
