Tom gave a really great talk about his dream and goal to provide a training facility in Bothell for river stewardship. Check out there web site for more info, Tom is someone that is truely dedicated to restoring our precious fish.

The Northwest Stream Center was created as a regional environmental education learning facility to address the critical need to provide the public with information and training in stream and wetland ecology and fish and wildlife habitat restoration. It is ideally located on a 20-acre site in McCollum Park, which lies 1/2 mile east of Interstate 5 between Everett and Seattle, Washington. The property is leased from Snohomish County. When complete, the Northwest Stream Center will welcome visitors from around the region to receive “basic training” in watershed ecology and stewardship
