The Satz is a very easy drift from Donation Bar or Cook Cr. down to the freeway, but it is a fairly long drift too. If you want to shorten up the easy section you can put in at the ruff launch on the West Satz, but unfortunately it doesn't make a good take out. The upper drift from Schafer to Donation is short but can be more to much more difficult depending on channeling, root wads and sweepers. The river changes alot up there. It may seem like the Satz is a little stingier than the Nooch because it takes time to really get to know it. I think that may be one reason more folk don't fish it.
