If a 10%ers actions on the river came across along the same lines as your statement above shouldn't they expect resentment.

A true 10%er doesn't take issue with envy or conquest.

If you are fishing with a group of people and someone chooses to call you an A-hole because your skill or luck level is peeking take it as term of endearment and show them the way.
