I ended up fishing at the mouth of the Wind down river last Sunday afternoon, all day Monday and Tuesday. I only had one take down. Fishing was pretty spotty those days, but reports said it was better a few days before. Sunday afternoon had a lot of boats out there, but things were thinned out more on Monday and Tuesday. A few boats seemed to do real well. I did real well there last year at the same time. According to a fish counter the bulk of the run was still a week out.
