I've got one too. I was fishing the wind and suddenly I feel the headshake on my line. I start to fight this fish and see that he has taken the hook really deep. His gills are bleeding in during the fight and he's leaving a bloodtrail in the water. I thought to myself 'thank goodness we can keep all of the fish on this river, cause he's doomed' Anyway, by the time I get the fish up the bank I realize that I had only hooked a 1 oz cannonball sinker that was attached to the hook in the fish's mouth. I bonked it. He was a goner and the fish took the (original) bait so it wasn't snagged.
