I hit my first summerrun of the year Sunday afternoon by experimenting with something new. I threw jigs with shrimp, eggs, drifted shrimp and spoons but nothing happened. Right before I was about to call it quits I bummed a nightcrawler off some guy, threw half of it on my red chenile jig and had a fish on my second or third cast. Anyone else have luck with this method or did I invent something new?
