Area 7 covers Bellingham. If memory serves me right it did not open until late July early August last year.
It usually starts with the Anacortes areas opening first then kinda migrates north. In BirchBay were I reside, it was around the 3rd week in August when it opened last year.

You can see some red dotted lines going throughout the area, that is usually the lines for the staggered opener. (usually)

Shrimping is open now.. but we all know there are no shrimp up here, also no crabs
