And if we want to cover all the costs for running the black hole out of licenses be prepared to fork over $1000 or more a year - the vast majority of WDFW's budget still comes from the general fund. And by the way, WDFW runs on about 2 tenths of one percent of the state budget. Want to save state money go after the big three, DSHS, DOC, and DOT. Better yet, elect Senators and Reps who can get the job done in the regular session - they spent more money on the extra legislative session than WDFW spends all year.
