As I mentioned in our update yesterday, we finally got a break at the end of our first big summer push. I stayed around town and kept tabs on the phones and such (did sneak out on the salt one eve ... another thread), but Corey headed over to Prince William Sound with mom and dad to chase BEARS

Personally, I like things that run the other direction when you shoot at them

But she's now earned a new moniker with this 6 foot plus blackie she shot Sunday night!

And I'd like to make sure he's really dead before looking closely at these snappers ...



They didn't have a digicam along with them, so we'll have to wait a few days to get the in the field pix for ya ... we'll post those and her story in ON THE HUNT section soon!
