Gee, reminds me of crankin those 5 LB weights from 300ft+ -- that alone was a challenge after the tide started to change!!!

Then one day, tap, tap, tap, yank and a half hour later, with sweat on the brow, and arms shaking from the fight, see color, bring the fish to the surface, and, and, and, and, ... It's a D**** 100lb+ skate. mad

Did have a lot of fun with the halibut however. We had to use a 22 shot in the head for more than one fish.

BEST EATING FISH IN THE WORLD -- Cooks' Inlet halibut in the 30-100lb class in my opinion.

Needless to say, Im quite envious. laugh

We used the tractor launch at Ninilchik/Deep Creek. Is that where you launched?
