God bless you Jim ---- Don't know about Idaho but my son, a ND biologist, tells me about a couple of lakes back there, one in MN, where the minimum keep size is 11" ---- thats one friggin big crappie!!!! It's only a 1600 mile drive.... Hope you find something closer for your friend.... How about small mouth bass from the Columbia. They eat good too...
