Hey all!

I am going to be back home (Everett) in August for my vacation and will be Humpy fishing. I do this in the salt, and usually in relatively shallow water. Two years ago, I suddenly found myself in the middle of a large school of jumping silvers. I always fish the Humpies light, and anchor and cast to them. I always do well this way, and it is much more fun than heavy gear/downriggers etc.
When I found these silvers, nothing I could toss at them could get them to bite. I tried everything I could, and the only fish I caught was one I snagged while using a Buzzbomb (green/white). I released that fish and quit using the BB and went to Vibrax spinners.
Still zip. Anyone have good suggestions as to what would work for these fish if anything? I assumed they were feeding as they were racing around and jumping. It lasted about an hour, waxing and waning. Would sure liked to have caught a couple (legally).
Have no problem with the Humpies. Have had them figured out for years. Have only fished for silvers the old way (mooching/trolling) and looking for some good advice before I get there.

Thanks!

MC :p
