If I had a chart in front of me I'd be able to point you in the right direction to a few of those spots. I'll do my best to tell you where the "bottleneck" is. You've probably looked at it numerous times and just didn't realize it had a name. If you are looking at La Parouse and start heading towards Ucluelet you'll see two banks coming together. They begin to narrow as the get closer to one another and get steeper. Think of it as a river and you'll see how it got its name. Once you see it on the chart it's hard to miss. I know this probably doesn't help much, but I hope it will give you an idea. To bad maptech.com doesn't go that far out...

I'll be there at the end of June beginning of July. I'll be looking forward to hearing your report. I was in Ucluelet over Memorial Day weekend and nobody was heading out to the the big bank. It wasn't producing! All the boats headed towards Tofina and fished the 3 humps near/off of Portland Point. We got a 20 pound Chinook and a 20 Pount Halibut while we were fishing with OBMG.

Good Luck!!!
