that is definately true with a car. cops do it all the time.

when I was a kid. a guy came thru our neighborhood at about 60 and swerved at my little brother on his bike running him off the road. (we were probably 13 and 11 at the time)


my dad saw it happen and chased the guy down. the guy decided to take a swing. my dad was a pro boxer and laid him out on the street. when the guy went to the cops. the cop said that if he attempted to press an assault charge against my dad then the cops would personally press attempted murder charges against him in addition to using a vehicle as a deadly weapon.

i dont see why it would be much different on the water. its still a deadly vehicle being used as a weapon. especially if the guy was drunk or more likely on meth.
