A "chaser" is a fish (or pod of fish) that chase your baits out of the hole all the way up to your boat. These fish will go out of their way to chase the bait and will almost always come to the boat before realizing their mistake and swimming away back to the dark green slots that they call home.

That particular fish swam after, and hit, my bait that was being retrieved in after the drift. The cool thing is, is you get the see the entire fiasco!

Nothing get's you going when you see a pod of 10+ steelies all swimming like hell to get your bait! It's even cooler when one picks it up, and the others are trying to gab it out of their mouth! They fight for it!

The most I've seen chase my bait is about a dozen chrome steelies. As Keith mentioned (maybe I cut it out) in the video - "It's like fishing in a hatchery holding pond."
