Been there and done that one before! But we got the to "ride" with the toll rope for ten miles in very heavy seas!

My buddy had hooked up his "cassette recorder" without using a fuse. He never even remembered turing the darn thing on! Every time we stated to run the engine, it blew out the main fuse! When he ran out of fuses, the game was over! Not much fun, but it certainly was a well learned lesion! Glad to see that your adventure turned out OK too!
