Well the 24lber held up and won the derby. I heard that the nets were out again on Saturday night and a whopping 8 fish were added to the board today. 31 Total for 2 days of fishing !

Nen, thanks for the note last night...Rick68 and I picked up one of those 8 fish at 0600 in 38 feet of water, you were right on the money ...on herring too.

So Rick and I were both on the board but couldn't walk away with the cash. I did come home with a nice set of $90 dollar binoculars and Rick took home a $60 Smith and Wesson hunting Knife and we both have fresh nookie for the BBQ. I'd say that was a good weekend!

Finally met the some of the guys from the Poggie club and they were all great people and put on a fun derby. They also said they hope to be back to the 2nd week in August next year.
