That's a nice fish. White kings should be fairly common out there, as a lot of whites run to the Fraser. The Harrison River is one well known for its run of white kings, but they occur in a number of tributaries. The Skagit also gets some whites, although most of the run is the usual reddish-orange flesh. Yumm, just thinking about it on the BBQ!

BTW, did a blind taste test of BBQd red and white Skagit kings with a large crowd of salmon lovers back in 1979. Not a one, including yours truly, could taste the difference with reliability greater than coincidence.
