Lets close,

And all the rest of the traditional Hatchery snagging grounds and while were at it lets close the hatcheries on these fisheries too since we wont be fishing there anymore.
Then once thats done and the snaggers move on to snagging native fish lets close all those fisheries too.
Hell lets just close everything right now and take up bowling and bird watching.
More and more fisheries are going to be closed and more rules and regulations are going to be made under the guise of not enough enforcement. But what is really happening is that we are losing the privilage to fish. Already fishermen are being confined to smaller and smaller areas where it becomes impossible to actually catch fish the same way hunters are being givin smaller and smaller areas to hunt! i.e the blue dot program which the state tells hunters it is in place to provide for more access, the the truth is there is alot less access now then there was 10 years ago! When you have 50 people standing directly over 20 fish what the hell are you supposed to do to get those fish to bite and if you have to resort to snagging to get your fish we might as well just close it! then we can have 100 people standing over 20 fish on the next fishery. So we might as well just close everything right now. There has to be some serious reform done right now or we will lose are fishing.
If you can catch fish legit with a crapload of people ripping the water to froth poking sticks into log jams, throughing rocks and doing whatever it takes to get the fish out in the open to snag you are the fishing god I want your advice. I am not talking about the people on rivers such as the skok that claim the fish are biting black and white corkies with flesh yarn who yank on every drift and get lucky and hook one in the mouth every once and awhile. I saw one guy fishing legit he was using a float and eggs he did not catch anything but kudos to him for trying before he joined the corky crowd.
Some people might say education is needed but how do you show somebody how to catch fish that have been harassed all day. Just too many people.
So how about that 2/7 split? See any red breasted wobblers in Washinton lately?
