Ok here's the deal, I was fishing at Point No Point today when all of a sudden my line parted upon casting the buzz bomb and a second later I was left holding the lower half of my Lamiglas. The top piece of my rod then bobbed up and down in the water within casting range for a short time before going under.

I'd really appreciate your guys' help for those who fish Point No Point on a regular basis. The rod separated upon casting just a little ways east of the coastguard residence. But it drifted west.

If anyone sees a rod piece belonging to a grey colored 8'6" N 386 HC baitcasting Lamiglas on the bottom of the sand or washed up, please retrieve it for me and contact me at darkmonkey_29@yahoo.com.

The ferrule connection shouldn't be that loose and I always seem to have to periodically tighten the two pieces to ensure that the top half of the rod. Is it worth a shot to send an email to Lamiglas and request to have my rod replaced?
