I've been fishing the Puyallup right near the Hwy 410 turnoff and doing well. Although from what I can tell, fish are spread throughout. Or, just look for cars parked along River Rd and people darting back and forth across the highway. Half of Seattle is fishing down there, but if you're willing to do some hiking, you can get away from the crowds....somewhat. 6-8 foot leaders with a corkie and yarn seems to be the standard setup.
