Given the attitude of commissioner Ozmet and others at WDFW, some legislation is necessary. How about one of you political gurus, like say CFM or Grandpa2, come up with some language to add to the fisheries code that requires the resource to be allocated first to the user group that produces the most economic benefit from it? Get some state senator or congressman who wants to get a lot of votes to sponsor a bill to modify the fisheries code. It is about time that WDFW started doing something simple like managing fish resources for maximum return to the economy of the state, and if they need legislation to enable them to do that, then lets get it for them.
