Here's our report from yesterday at Sekui. Very interesting fishing... There were hardly any native fish. Mostly SMALL hatchery coho 3-4 pounds. We let go a lot of fish before we kept our limits. Probably 5 to 1 hatchery to native. We caught very few "hooknose" (although it's always nice catching 15 pound coho, even if it's just a couple). It seemed more like late August than late September.

Overall, our average was about 6 pounds per fish. The fish checker said it was very typical of what he'd seen. He said only 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 boats had "ocean" fish.

What a zoo--I've never seen it so busy!
