Close. I'm having Lasek done, not Lasik. Do a google search on Lasek and you'll see how it differs from Lasik. Newer procedure, safer, better for the eyes, and all the fun stuff. The only downside is a day or 3 recovery time, where Lasik is walk-in, walk-out, no fuss, no pain, etc.

I'm doing the first eye on the 20th and the next eye on the 3rd. Kinda shoots down my fishing, though.

I probably won't be out this weekend, but am seriously considering taking a "Mental Health Day" on Thursday with the infamous Kid Sauk. I hear some Snoho Cohos calling our names. Look for us in the Black Thor, if you're on the Snoho on Thursday.
