When I lived in NM we had salmon in Navajo dam and the only way you caught them was snagging.
That was the legal way.
when I moved hear I had friends that explained [Bleeeeep!] to me, and hay it worked.
I don’t snag fish.
You should have at least tried, and if they were not receptive then move on,
And do what you got to get the warden out there.
It’s a good lesson for the little one to see how to deal with people civil .02 .
