At the risk of being shot for giving out zipper information, the Satsop will have runs of coho through to the end of the season - January 31, 2004. Now, the hatchery fish will shoot up to the hatchery in a hell of a hurry once they hit the river. Pretty much any coho after the end of November that are in the Sop will be a wild fish that deserve our respect, and in my opinion, careful release back to the river. The state record coho was caught in the Satsop in January. What magnificient fish these wild, late, cohoes are!
