Unfortunately SteelDon the low tide during the day dont happen till the spring. Hopefully we will still have a few clams left in the quota by then...

Love those morning tides. Hungover, half drunk, groggy eyed, nothing like hair of the dog at 6:00 in the morning beer ... Nice thing is you can clean clams in the daylight.

The night tides can be really good, I find that a lantern works way better than a flashlight. Plus I usually have my wife hold the lantern while I dig. A helluva lot easier that way...

Oh yeah carry and extra lighter in a dry pocket... the last time out we had a wave knock the lantern out and then get the lighter wet. Had to walk back to the car for a fresh lighter...
