Sky Guy: I hate to admit I dont know, but all things mechanical seem to escape me. What do you shrink it with? I used some awhile back on my depth finder connections. Tried the wife's hair dryer and it worked kinda, but too looong time and never did shrink as tight as I wanted.

My tip. Attach your float to your mainline with a rubber band. It lets you adjust the float easier then usual method, keeps the float on your line when you break a leader and doesn't cut you float in half when you get snagged.
