I fished the Kalama the weekend before last, and cought a couple silvers. Saw a few summer runs, but nothing to speak of. The best place I have found for silvers is the lower river from the beginner hole down. I herd from a friend that 3 weeks ago they did really well on the silvers. I agree with the previous posts about listening to the reports from pritchards, or the Tacoma News Tribune. I have not found them to be to helpful. The Steelie fishing should pick up with the rain we are getting now, and it might also push the fish up that they are still catching beyond the mouth. Good Luck
