Yes, there is a slight difference between Mor Tac and Pen Tac. The spinner blades are absolutely mirror identical, the difference is in the spoon bodies. Hold a BC and a Stilly together, notice how they do not match up? The Stilly has a slightly more pronounced wave near the base (bottom) than the BC. While this increased wave makes for slightly higher action at slower speeds, it does create more "push" or lift which, while barely noticeable, makes the lure ride higher in the water and a bit more difficult to get down. Also check out the difference in camber (the horizontal bend of the body). There is a .016 difference in the camber of the BC, this makes it again slightly more alble to wobble and not roll over and begin to spin, the bane of all spoon fishermen. The #2 Mor Tac is just shy of 2/5ths ounce BC, the #3 is just shy of 2/3rds ounce BC. So, even though they appear the same, they are indeed very different in weight, wave frequency, camber, and hole placement. Otherwise, both have high quality metal finishes and both are wonderful lures. So I've heard..... banana
