I fished the North Fork Lewis River yesterday (11/30) at the Cedar Creek boat launch. The follks in the boats (DB's and sleds) were doing well with late run Chinook. I saw 5 - 6 nice fresh, bright Chinook landed in a couple hours. Most were in the 20 - 30 lb range. They were all caught bouncing eggs on the bottom in and around the Meat Hole. I didn't get any hits and neither did anyone else on shore. But the boaters did well. The flows were up but it was very fishable. I didn't see or hear of anyone getting any winter steelhead yet.
