2.7mph + on the gps and 2mph+ on the paddle. I prefer silver hordes but my buddy who taught me plug fishing uses both and often uses his old wooden lucky louies much to the chagrin of his collector friends. Have always caught bigger fish on the plugs. When ever I can fish 2 rods ( 2 people) I like to run a flasher on one( to pull the fish in) and a plug on the other.
