FISH FIND: On Nov. 7, during a fall chinook spawning ground survey on the lower East Fork of the Lewis River, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife biologists found a naturally spawned, 32.3-pound wild coho.

The dead fish was just upstream from Daybreak Park. Based on analysis performed by the department's statewide scale reader, it was determined the fish was a 4-year-old with one year of freshwater rearing.
