I sell Okuma reels and have used the Metaliod along with the Epixor. They are very good reels for the money. The only thing I do not like about them is that when the bail is open and you turn the handle after a cast to close it they are a little "stiff". This is I believe because these reels along with the Epixor model have a mechanism that keeps the bail from slamming closed during a cast. I really put my Epixor EFS 30 to the test this year by catching over fourty kings with it and it did the job great. The drags are larger than most other spinning reels and work really well. Oh, you will find that the shiny coating on your Metaliod will wear off rather fast but it will not hurt the performance. Tight lines to all.
