I picked up a spool of maxima ultra green the other day ( I always use chameleon) when I opened the package the line started falling off the spool like twisted line on a spinning reel it looked kind of shiny to me and had a hard kind of plastic feel to it could it of been a bad spool?
I tried izorline twice no abrasion resistance wont work for where I fish.
