Mike McFarland, aviation and marine forecaster for the National Weather Service in Seattle, said the Pineapple Express is on track to bring three storm fronts to the Washington coast.

"The first system will melt the snow, the second system will fill the rivers up then the third system will push them over the banks," he said. "It is sort of a one - two - three punch."
