Hey GutZ-
I think you could use any centerpin with anti-reverse for that kind of fishing. I have not seen too many other sizes of these reels made for specific types of fishing like that, unless you get into the really expesive machined aluminum alloy reels. I would think you could use either the Daiwa I use or the Shimano and just use a lighter line with the same reel. Lets get out and try it sometime soon.
