I haven't used one yet although I have used an eon and this new one looks like an eon with a face lift. One improvement that I can see from the picture is the lineguide looks metal now. I don't know if they changed the drags or just gave the original drag of the eon a fancy name. I really liked the Eon that I had though as far as the drag was concerned. I almost bought the eon pro but it was a little pricey.
