SA,

I've done the late trip and would certainly go again. There will be good #'s of kings around, and you should be able to pick up on what to do fairly quickly. Running the Skeena is rather simple since from around Terrace down it is a rather large river and easy to read. The Kalum, now that is a different animal as it can get low and tight at times. It would be one you would want to use caution on running if you haven't been up it before. There are plenty of stumps and sweepers and lots of very tight corners. I would liken it in size to the stilly when it is low, only make it curvy as heck in parts.

Good luck if you go,

PD
