Fished Saturday morning on the Racetrack (between Hat and Camano). There were lots of boats out there...how did everyone do?

We had a nice fish on as soon as we put the gear down. My coffee hadn't kicked in, so I didn't get to the rod in time.

Shortly after, we C&R'd a 20 incher, then hit a nice 8 lber. Hooked a couple more nice shakers before quitting at noon.

All the fish hit a 4" cop car spoon 36" behind a green glow hot spot. Unfortunately, we only had 1 of these spoons, because we tried every other color and couldn't get a hit. As expected, they were lying on the bottom.

Our keeper had 3 herring in her stomach.

Speaking of stomachs, she tasted darn good Sunday night. Fresh salmon is the best on the BBQ.
