Heck, they wanted to do away with non spot shrimp seasons all together. We told them no. You never let them take anything away as you will never get it back. Non spot seasons used to last forever. Last year they closed right away so they wouldn't have to monitor it. AS spot shrimp goes away I was thinking of coonstripe shrimping. Like you I bought an expensive puller and need to use it.
