I just wanted to add that local legislators are only immune from misdemeanor crimes while in legislative session...and not from felonies.. They can also be prosecuted for the misdemeanors after the session is over...Would the commercials be exempt from a net ban if one went into effect due to the "grandfather clause?" I would think not..but I'm no expert.
