I've caught lots of kings and silvers with different color cofo flies. A guy in Soldotna was selling them out of his car. He asked if I want any fly and was selling them VERY VERY cheap. They had sharp VMC? hooks. He used to sell them to Fred-Meyer. I bought like 200+ of them. I still have 80+. They were legal (pt. to shank) for reds as well and I have caught (lined ) many reds with it. I have used the coho fly all over AK and it works for me. I have to use them because I still have 80+ left

For trout I used different egg patterns fishing upper Kenai and it worked great. Other than that I haven't targeted trout up there.
