Hey Steve, glad to help, just glad to hear you made it home! As always, any fisherman or boater is welcome to anything I have that they need. Good for the Mojo!!
I had my neighbor's kid with me, we did get a nice 20lb+ slab to the boat, but had an extra fin, so had to let it go. Shame too, this was his first salmon ever and had to make him watch it swim away! He told me this morning he had big fish dreams all night! Saw the FishNg1 machine on the water, I yelled to Steve I was surprised that boat would run in anything other than Westport water! Then, saw him in a parking lot on the way home laying under his trailer, so I doubled back to see if I could help. Having busted two trailer bearings and had to leave my boat beside the road in the past, I know carry a complete hub kit and a grease gun along with all the tools needed anytime I pull the boat, especially that far. Some guys look at me funny when I grease my hubs everytime I pull the boat out of the water, but some say man, great idea and ask if they can have some. I always carry extra for them, because I would hate to see them broke down.
Like I told my kid afterwards, boaters stick together and help each other out. I may break down and need a tow in someday, or be stuck beside the road broke down. At those times, you are greatful for a helpful person to come along and help you out. I just want to be the guy to help if ever needed.
Glad to hear you made it home ok Steve, sorry the hub wasn't quite the right one, but in a pinch, you know?? I'll definately take you up on the Westport offer!!
