Lead Thrower, That debate could go on for years...and years....You are best off adding a larger hook to the tail end of your offering instead of going with a single in the belly...most add chain to the belly hook so they are actually fishing at the A$$ end of the lure anyway. You might even try something like this....adding a pink or red prawn

I make these myself so you won't find them in stores...but anything close might work :p
