Well , everybody, all I can say is that fishing and catching was "just exceptional" We probably caught more steelhead in one day than many expect to catch in a lifetime.
The weather was great and the water temp was rising, which meant, that the fish were on the bite most of the time. We tried all kinds of methods, Jigs, Plugs, and the "Pink" worm. They all worked, but I had my brother and other buddy on the ropes with the Pink worm, they were just hammering it.
A few days before we were scheduled to leave, we hit some hot fish just before tidewater, and we had two triples on before it got dark on us and we had to quit. Then on the day that we had to be off the river by 2 pm to catch the 5:30 flight we caught and released 38 fish.
The biggest fish of the trip was caught by Mike, it measured 41.5 by 21.5 which is almost 25 pounds. My Brother managed a 40 incher and My biggest was 38 inches.
It only rained about a day and a half, the rest was blue sky and sunshine, but very cold at night.
Here are few pictures for all to enjoy.
