Went fishing with my fishing partner at the Beginner's Fishing Hole on the Kalama River Saturday morning and while in the parking lot I noticed the driver of the late model White Dodge truck parked next to me had caught a nice 12 pound Springer (my attention was now diverted). We were parked fairly close together so I could not easily get to my truck door so I set my rucksack down near the passenger's door. Well I conversed with this fisherman about his catch for a short time and my cousin and I left for breakfast after not catching anything. Later on in the afternoon we decided to go up to the canyon for some afternoon fishing, got up there and that is when I noticed the rucksack was missing. I had a sudden onset of adrenaline and immediately tried to remember what I had done. After figuring it out, I stopped at all the tackle stores along the river and shared my loss, hoping someone had dropped off the rucksack with them. No luck, so I filed a missing items report with the County Sherriff's Office and I'm sharing this will all of you in hopes someone is kind enough to contact me.
