This is my first private boat sale so I need some help with all of the particulars in regards to the legal stuff.

This is what I think I need to, help me out if I'm missing something please, like maybe a Bill of Sale? Is a BOS necessary?

For the buyer:

1. Fill out and sign the boat and trailer titles.
2. Fill out and sign the "Declaration of Buyer and Seller Regarding Value of Used Vehicle Sold" forms. (1 for the boat and 1 for the trailer)

For the state:

1. Fill out the Vehicle Report of Sale for the trailer and file with the DOL.
2. Fill out the Vessel Report of Sale for the boat and file with the DOL.

For me:

1. Deposit the money in MY bank account, ;\) LOL!
